IGCSE Mathematics Tuition in Singapore

Build strong methods. Solve with confidence.

IGCSE Mathematics rewards students who can work fluently by hand and reason through multi-step problems. Our 1-to-1 lessons build secure methods first, then the problem-solving needed for longer, unfamiliar questions. Students strengthen arithmetic and algebraic fluency alongside their use of calculators.

Class Structure

At Axiom Education, our classes are structured to ensure every student gains a deep understanding of the material while building the skills to tackle exam questions with confidence.

  1. Breaking Down Theory

We start each lesson by covering the key theories for the topic, breaking them into smaller, easily digestible sections. This approach helps students grasp even the most complex concepts effectively.

  2. Applying the Theory

Next, we demonstrate how to apply these theories to real-world problems, guiding students step-by-step through practical examples.

  3. Exam-Style Practice

In the final half-hour, students attempt progressively challenging exam-style questions. This reinforces their understanding, builds confidence, and prepares them to excel in any test situation.

Our structured yet engaging approach ensures that students leave every class not only equipped with knowledge but also the skills to use it effectively when it matters most.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) about IGCSE Mathematics tuition

This class is suitable for IGCSE students who want to strengthen their foundations, improve problem-solving accuracy, or prepare more confidently for school assessments and examinations.

Lessons focus on understanding mathematical concepts, recognising question types, selecting efficient methods, showing clear working, and applying skills accurately to exam-style questions.

One-to-one lessons allow the tutor to adjust the pace, revisit specific gaps, and give focused feedback on the student’s working and problem-solving approach.

Students practise applying concepts under exam-style conditions, learn from errors, and develop more reliable methods for approaching both familiar and unfamiliar questions.

Students should bring their current syllabus information, recent schoolwork or assessment papers, and any topics or questions they would like the tutor to review.

Share your school’s sequence, the topics already covered and upcoming assessment dates. Ask Axiom how the proposed class plan aligns with your needs. Confirm any arrangements for gaps or differences before enrolling; matching the subject name alone does not establish syllabus alignment.

Provide your examination board, syllabus code, subject route or tier, examination session and school’s current topics. These details help distinguish courses that share a subject name but have different requirements. Confirm current class availability and coverage with Axiom before enrolling.

Your examination board, syllabus code and course route define the topics and assessment requirements you need to prepare for. Provide these details, your examination session and school’s current topics so Axiom can check class suitability. Confirm course availability before enrolling.
